Great New Features added to Synergy 8 to increase your profitability

iNet Marketing Solutions clients utilising the Synergy 8 Website Management Console, will beneifit from a host of new enhancements released recently.One of the most significant is the new abilty for clients to be able to accept payment by credit card over the Internet without the need for a complex and expensive Internet Credit Card Merchant Account or Transaction Gateway Service which both charge a monthly fee, as well as a percentage commission charge. This made possible by an new interface between the Synergy 8 System and Pay Pal.

PayPal, the trusted leader in online payments, it enables buyers and businesses to send and receive money online. PayPal has over 96 million member accounts in 55 countries and regions. It's accepted by merchants everywhere, both on and off eBay. PayPal is the preferred payment method on eBay and is safe to use and is accepted by millions of businesses worldwide. This means your Clients can make bookings, buy products or send you money directly from their Credit Card, through Paypal to your account. No fuss no hassles - easy. Yes there is a small % commision fee that you have to pay but any credit card transaction attracts a fee. Plus you get to avoid about $65.00 per month in additional fees - not to mention the paperwork hassle. I'm sure you'll agree that this is a great new feature that many Clients will want to take up straight away. The Affiliate Program allows other organisations to market, by email, to their list, promoting your goods and services, with a link back to your site, where they can get more information and place an order. You acept the order and then in turn, you can pay a percentage or commision back to your affiliate. Don't worry all of the "back-end accounting" is all taken care of by the Synergy 8 System. It is really simple you don't need to be a teenager - even a business person can do it You can even pay your affiliate on a daily basis if you wish. Now how's that for a creditbilty builder. I bet you are already starting to think, who do you know that has a list of email addresses that probably wouldn't give you the names, but would send a message on your behalf if they were assured of a "bite of the cherry". You may arrange to pay them for a booking, a sale or even pay them per click. If they are delivering a well qualified list, it may be worth it just to get their clients to visit your site. It may even be a "Spotters Fee" for a refferal. This is really powerful as it allows you to facilitates "joint ventures" with other entities. New Back-up facility because like that underwear commercial says, "one day you are going to get caught" If you haven't lost very important data yet, you have either been lucky or careful. I prefer to be careful, that way I can save my luck for more pleasurable pursuits. Your investment of time and energy can be secured by taking a copy of all of your hard work. It's easy and you should get into the habit of doing it regularly. How regularly depends on how often your data changes. This is how you do it. Backup

Log on to the console
On the left hand column you'll see the Backups Heading and just click on "Create Backup"
This will create a zip file (compressed format - reduced size) of your site
You can now download this zip file and keep it in a safe place
Copy or save it to your Hard Drive or CD-ROM etc.

Fire Escape Another fantastic safety net is the History of Changes feature in the Changes section of the Console.It keeps a runnung history of all of the changes that are made and saved. You can go back to what the site was at a particular time. Great if you get yourself into some trouble or if you want to make tempory changes and then you would like to go back to the way your site was previously. For example you may have a special promotion that runs for two weeks and when its over rather than trying to remember what you changed and what pages got added or altered you can just go back through the history of changes and pick a date that you would like your website to revert to.

Order

Re-order your lists . Inside the console there may be various lists. You may already be familiar with the list of Members in your Community. This list displays a variety of useful information including Name, E-mail, Address, Post code and when they last viewed the site online. This information can be re-ordered from first to last or vica vera. One obvious benefit is being able to identify which Members haven't been back to your site for a while. Very useful information in a much more powerful format.

Re-set your Page Counters. When you view your list of pages in the content area of the Synergy 8 Console it shows you the number of "hits" (viewers) the page has had. There are now two columns allowing one column to be reset to zero with a hot button at the bottom of the page. You can reset this extra counter each month or every week to get better feedback. You can re-set the counter at the start of some promotions or some advertising and measure the increase in traffic. Some clients watch, reset and record the results in a spreadsheet to see any emerging trends. What happens during the School Holidays or the Colder Months? Once again great e-marketing feedback.

Fast Car

Faster Page Downloading . You won't even see this performance enhancement but it is there just the same and will make your site a little more attractive to those people that have slower connections because your pages will load fast due to enhanced compression technology that Synergy 8 has been souped up with. Remember that almost half of the Australian Internet users are still struggling along with a dial-up connection..
